Haq, starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi, has been receiving positive response from the audience since its release in theatres on November 7. Directed by Suparn S Verma, the movie is inspired by the life of Shah Bano Begum and the 1985 Supreme Court case. The film focuses on Shazia’s legal fight for her rights. Amid Haq's success at the box office, Yami expressed gratitude to moviegoers for their love, stating that the film's numbers reflect genuine audience love and appreciation and not "foul play."

On Sunday, Yami Gautam took to X and responded to a user's post about Haq's box office collection. She wrote, “The power of ‘word of mouth’. No foul play or any gimmicks. Straight from our hearts to the audience. Even from a trade & media perspective, I feel a lot of positivity that they want a film like Haq to be a success. It’s a rarity & I shall cherish this moment for life."

After her post, fans flooded the comments section with praise for her performance in the film. One user wrote, "just pure honesty and heartfelt storytelling connecting directly with the audience." Another user commented, "Congratulations for another meaningful & entertaining Hit movie. Keep doing the great work." Another comment read, "I always admire a very few who hv the courage to do justice. It's a powerful medium which can impact our lives. Some film makers r making really meaningful films & there exists a market for good films. I had stopped watching films in theatres since 2016. I watched it."

Haq Box Office Report

Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi starrer collected Rs 3.35 crore on its second day. On its third day, Sunday Haq earned Rs 3.1 crore. According to the Sacnilk report, the movie's total collection stands at Rs 8.2 crore.
