About Kick 2
Following the success of Salman Khan’s 2014 action-comedy film Kick, the makers officially announced the highly anticipated sequel Kick 2 in October last year. In Kick, Salman portrayed the role of Devi Lal Singh aka Devil, a modern-day Robin Hood. His character impressed audiences and became an instant hit among fans.

Earlier, screenwriter Rajat Arora shared details about the sequel and told Mid-day, “We are taking the story ahead from where Kick [2014] ended, with Salman’s character [becoming] a police officer. If any character demands a sequel, it is Devi Lal from Kick. There has been a huge demand for the sequel, and we could have done it much earlier if we wanted to cash in on Kick’s popularity and Salman’s stardom. But we didn’t want to make the film just for the sake of it; we wanted it to have a new story and be perfect. That’s why it has taken us some time. The scripting is in progress and will be completed soon.”
However, the official announcement regarding Pranit More's involvement in Kick 2 is yet to be made by the makers.
