Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan have sent social media into a frenzy following the release of leaked images from the sets of their upcoming film, King. The duo were spotted filming in the scenic city of Cape Town, South Africa.

Deepika Padukone recently announced her second pregnancy with husband Ranveer Singh. Despite her growing baby bump, the actress has maintained a packed work schedule and travelled to South Africa to join the production. The leaked visuals show the pair walking hand in hand, reportedly filming a romantic song sequence directed by Siddharth Anand.

According to reports, Deepika Padukone’s involvement in King is not limited to musical numbers; she is also expected to participate in key action-packed climax sequences. Once the South African schedule concludes, she will return to India to begin work on filmmaker Atlee’s Raaka alongside Allu Arjun. It is reported that she will spend approximately 50 to 60 days filming for that project in a Mumbai studio.

What To Expect From Shah Rukh Khan's King Movie? 

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first on-screen collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The plot reportedly follows SRK as a seasoned assassin operating within the dark underworld, with Suhana playing his protege. The film boasts a massive ensemble cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji. Fans can look forward to the theatrical release on Christmas Eve, 24th December 2026.
