Priya Prakash Varrier, who gained notoriety for his one wink in the 2019 Malayalam movie Oru Adaar Love, most recently appeared as a background extra in Param Sundari. She was seen strolling behind Sidharth Malhotra and Manjot Singh in one of scenes in the movie. Fans were taken aback by her fleeting, silent appearance, and many wondered why a well-known actor would take on such a role.

Priya Prakash Varrier silently moved through the crowd while wearing a red and white saree. Imagine a girl who was formerly thought to be a rival to the top heroines suddenly showing up as an extra. It was a blink-and-miss moment, but astute fans discovered it right away. A video that is making the rounds on Reddit, Instagram, and X (previously Twitter) shows Priya in the background. Priya Varrier should have been given a more significant role, according to some on social media, who made comments like - "She would have done better than Janhvi Kapoor in the movie."

Netizens expressed their disbelief after spotting Priya Varrier as a background. One of the users wrote, "She would have been better for taking up Jhanvi Kapoors role.I just cant stand Bollywood!" Another user wrote, "The movie got trimmed, maybe her role was cut. Maybe she auditioned for the thirsty nurse role but, got rejected." A third user commented, "How far can you go in acting career with just one wink??" 

Some also came to defense and said, "Honestly, there is no shame is being an extra or even behind the camera. Society (like you) shaming people like this, is what destroys ppls confidence in what they do. This is not a step back but a stepping stone." One of the many users also said that Priya deserved better than just a background extra.
