Priyanka Chopra has given Bollywood some phenomenal performances and is soon to make her comeback to Indian cinema. As fans are eagerly awaiting her return to Hindi films, the actress reminisced about the shooting days of the iconic song Ram Chahe Leela from the romantic drama, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 2013. Calling it a complicated decision, Priyanka remembered how she worked hard and rehearsed during lunch breaks to perfect her dance moves.

Priyanka Chopra Recalls Working On Ram Chahe Leela

Priyanka took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of the Ram Leela song along with a note, reflecting on heartwarming memories. She said, "When Sanjay Sir came to me with this song, it was a complicated decision, but him as a filmmaker has always inspired me. His creative mind, his nostalgic stories usually over incredible food, the conversations of art and music to dance.. the beauty of the yesteryears but also what the future holds. And then he played the song.. and I knew I was her.”

The actress added, "Under Sanjay sir’s guidance, Ravi Varman’s cinematography shone, and Vishnu Deva was magic! Him and I would rehearse during lunch breaks every day to perfect the dance sequences. This brings back such great memories. Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela | 2013."

Soon after her post, fans shared their feelings and praised her for iconic performance. Bhumi Pednekar wrote, "Queen with the maestro."

Priyanka is returning to Indian cinema reportedly with S S Rajamouli’s upcoming directorial starring Mahesh Babu. The film is titled SSMB29. Meanwhile, she is garnering praise for her peformance in Heads of State. The movie also stars Idris Elba and John Cena and was released on 2 July 2025 on Prime Video.
