Punjabi Actress Tania’s Father Is In Critical Condition After Being Shot By Two Unidentified Men: ‘This Is An Emotional Time’

Punjabi actress Tania’s father Dr. Anil Jit Singh Kamboj was injured in a shocking incident. On July 4, two unidentified men entered his clinic and shot him at close range. He was then rushed to a hospital in Moga, where he is undergoing treatment. An eyewitness told Punjab Mania, the attackers arrived on a motorcycle as patients. Confirming the same, Superintendent of Police, Moga, said, “The assailants came with a plan. They approached Dr. Kamboj posing as patients, then fired at close range.” The doctor was shot with two bullets while he was attending his patients. As per reports, he is in critical condition.

As reported by Times Now, police sources revealed that Kamboj was receiving death threats although there was no official complaint had been filed. The matter is currently being investigated by the police forces. CCTV footage from nearby cameras is also being reviewed to help identify with shooters.

On Tania’s Instagram story, the actress’s team shared a statement which reads, “On behalf of Tania and her family, we want to share that this is an extremely critical and emotional time for her and her family. We kindly request the media to respect their privacy and give them space they need to process this. We urge everyone to be sensitive and refrain from speculation or creating stories around the situation. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
