Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Reboot has been making headlines since the makers of the show announced the return of the iconic show. The fans, along with the original star cast, have been over the moon about the show’s return. As the show is all set to bring back Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay as Tulsi and Mihir Virani, another popular actress is said to make a comeback on the show. Apara Mehta, who played the role of Savita Virani, has reportedly joined the shoot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, a source claimed, “She has already started shooting for the show and is currently on Kyunki's set. She has been busy shooting something interesting for the show, which will intrigue the audience a lot.” In a recent interview, Apara Mehta shed light on the same and expressed that she is not sure about her casting yet.

The actress also mentioned that she will be extremely disappointed if she doesn’t make it to the show. "I am not sure because Savita’s character had died. As of now, we are talking about it, but I don’t know how it will happen and what will happen. I can’t talk about it much," she said.

Smriti Irani’s onscreen mother-in-law, Apara Mehta, also expressed her excitement about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’s comeback and said, "I am so happy that it is happening, the second season. Popular TV actor Amar Upadhyay recently shared some insights about the production. According to a source quoted by Hindustan Times, the premiere of the show was planned for July 3, 2025, but there were some last-minute changes that were to be made, which have caused a delay in the release of the show.
