Actress Nora Fatehi, who was earlier linked to the project, has now walked out of Ragini MMS 3 due to what reports describe as scheduling issues. With Nora stepping aside, reports suggest that Tamannaah Bhatia has been approached to headline the film instead. According to reports, Nora was the makers’ first choice right from the start. The team at Balaji Telefilms was reportedly keen on bringing her onboard, mainly because of her strong global fan following and the momentum she has gained from a string of hit songs and international collaborations. Tracks like “Tetema” and her international music tie-ups have helped her establish a strong base not just in India but also abroad, making her a valuable addition to any project.

However, her packed calendar has created obstacles. According to a report in Filmfare, “With multiple projects running parallel, including a significant international shoot in Los Angeles that’s still under wraps, Nora had no choice but to step back from Ragini MMS 3.” This makes it clear that her exit was purely professional and not connected to any creative disagreements. With Nora no longer available, the makers quickly turned their attention to Tamannaah Bhatia. The actress has been balancing projects in Bollywood as well as South Indian cinema and is currently one of the most versatile stars in the industry. If she agrees to take on the role, Ragini MMS 3 will add yet another unique project to her already diverse filmography. On the contrary, insiders suggest the two continue to enjoy a strong professional bond. Filmfare even reports that both are likely to work together again soon, possibly on a bigger and more ambitious project one that could even surpass the popularity of Ragini MMS.
