Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 4: Raja Shivaji maintained its robust theatrical run on its first Monday despite a typical post-weekend decline. The historical drama, which features Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, and Fardeen Khan, was written and directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who also plays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Raja Shivaji, the grandiose Maratha story starring Riteish Deshmukh, had a strong weekend but saw a sharp 53% decline on its first weekday.
Raja Shivaji's total domestic net collection reached Rs 39.50 crore after earning Rs 5.60 crore on its fourth day. Riteish Deshmukh's historical epic is on course to surpass the Rs 50 crore milestone by midweek, with a worldwide revenue approaching Rs 47 crore.

Raja Shivaji's Marathi version saw a positive occupancy trend at the box office. The average occupancy rate was 35.25% on Monday. The morning shows witnessed 12.17% footfall, the afternoon shows saw 39.83% attendance, while the evening shows occupancy rate went upto 42.33%, and the night shows were 46.67%. The Hindi version, however, saw an overall occupancy of 11.48%.
Raja Shivaji was released alongside the romantic drama, Ek Din, on May 1, 2026. But the Aamir Khan-backed movie starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi was a complete disaster from day one at the box office.
The star cast's performances have been garnering accolades. Salman Khan's cameo appearance as Jiva Mahala in the film actually caused a lot of excitement in theatres.
