Coolie Trailer Launch:On Saturday, the trailer release for Rajinikanth's eagerly awaited action movie Coolie created a festive atmosphere in Chennai. It was an off-screen move that really captured people' attention, even if the event featured tremendous visuals from the movie. One of the highlights of the eveing was when Rajinikanth shared a passionate hug with Aamir Khan instead of letting the Bollywood star touch his feet.

Coolie cast and crew got up from their chairs to greet him as he walked in. As he walked to his seat, Shruti Haasan was observed caressing his feet respectfully. Anirudh Ravichander and director Lokesh Kanagaraj also touched his feet before giving him a hug, while Nagarjuna and Satyaraj shook his hand affectionately.

Several celebrities and staff members attended the occasion, but Aamir Khan's unexpected arrival drew applause. Khan made a stunning appearance wearing a black tank top and jeans, along with a jacket that matched. Wearing his tough appearance from the movie, he smiled and waved to the audience. The audience cheered for the actor loudly.

Nagarjuna Akkineni, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan are among the ensemble cast members of Coolie, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner. Aamir Khan will play a unique role as 'Dahaa.' Anirudh Ravichander is the composer of the music. War 2, which stars Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr. NTR, is anticipated to compete with Coolie at the box office when it opens in theaters on August 14, 2025.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded Coolie a 'A' (Adults Only) certificate. In contrast to his previous films, Vikram and Leo, which were both given U/A ratings, this is the first adult picture directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
