Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda is no more. Jawanda had been critical for over 11 days after he met with a road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The 35-year-old collided with stray cattle, leading to severe head and spinal injuries, followed by a cardiac arrest. The singer was undergoing treatment at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where despite being closely monitored by specialists, he passed away on Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, Rajvir's friends and family, including the leaders of Punjab have been mouring his loss.

Jawanda was riding a 1300cc motorcycle. His last conversation with his wife has been revealed, where she expressed concerns about his safety and asked him not to go for the ride. Despite her reservations, Rajvir proceeded with his trip and the tragic accident left his family and fans in shock.

Rajvir's close friend revealed that his wife had explicitly told him not to leave the house that day, but unfortunately, he didn't heed her warning. The friend shared this information while interacting with Daily Post Punjabi, also highlighting the immense pain the family is going through. Despite the wife's reservations, destiny seemed to have other plans and Rajvir went ahead with his bike ride to Shimla, which resulted in a severe accident, leading to his death.

Who was Rajvir Jawanda?

Rajvir Jawanda, a Ludhiana-born Punjabi singer and actor, gained fame with hits like Kali Jawande Di, Mera Dil and Sardari. He was also known for his roles in several Punjabi films. An avid biker, Rajvir often shared videos of his mountain rides.

According to a report in Apple Music, Rajvir Jawanda initially aspired to become a police officer after graduating from university but instead pursued a career in the arts as a singer. Born in Punjab in 1992, Rajvir launched his music career with his debut single Munda Like Me in 2014. He since collaborated with notable artists, including Punjabi singer Maninder Buttar, with whom he released the song Vair. Rajvir's musical journey had seen him work on various hits, earning him a dedicated fan base in the Punjabi music industry.
