Ali Fazal, known for his role as Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur, is gearing up for his upcoming role in the Netflix series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom. The series is directed by Rahi Anil Barve and produced by Raj and DK. To prepare for the high-octane action scenes, Ali Fazal has been reportedly undergoing intense training in Jujutsu, a Japanese martial art, under the guidance of Italian expert and black belt Umberto Barbagallo. On the work front, apart from Rakt Brahmand, Ali Fazal is also set for the theatrical release of his upcoming Telugu movie Thug Life with Kamal Haasan.

Ali Fazal was determined to train properly for the role, as per a report in Firstpost, "Ali was clear from the beginning that he wanted to train properly for the role. He didn’t want to rely on doubles for the action scenes. The team brought in Umberto to help him get into shape and learn the technique." The report further revealed that the Mirzapur star has been dedicating nearly 6-7 hours a day to training, which includes weight training, diction classes and learning traditional martial arts.
