The late legendary actor Rishi Kapoor and wife, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, is all set to make her Bollywood debut. The shooting of the project is currently underway in Himachal Pradesh’s Mashobra. The upcoming actress and Ranbir Kapoor’s sister has shared a beautiful picture of herself from the sets, blurring the background. In the photo, she can be seen outdoors on a chair and flashing a big smile to the camera. Riddhima looked ethereal in a white knit sweater paired with dark blue jeans.
While posting a picture, Riddhima wrote on Instagram, “Framing moments of bliss! #shootdiaries #DKS #mashobra #simla #filmshooting.” Her fans and followers complimented her look in the comment section. A user said, “So beautiful mam!” Another said, “Wowwwww.....gorgeous..beautiful.” A comment read, “Gorgeous pic.” A fan wrote, “Pic of the week.” Another fan commented, “Gorgeous as always.”
The storyline and the concept of the movie have been kept under wraps. However, it has been tentatively titled as DKS, which stars Riddhima Kapoor, her mother Neetu Kapoor and popular comedian Kapil Sharma in the lead roles. A Pinkvilla report suggests that the film has been directed by Ashish R Mohan. He is known for directing movies like Khiladi 786 and Welcome 2 Karachi to name a few. As per a source told the portal, “It’s a situational comedy, and the makers have put together a solid ensemble cast for the film.”
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni last appeared on Netflix’s show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. Notably, it was her first onscreen appearance. Apart from Riddhima Kapoor, Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives also starred some popular personalities in the country like Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, Bhavna Pandey, Kalyani Saha Chawla and Shalini Passi. It was released on the OTT platform in 2024. The concept of the show was to capture the real moments and conversations of the ladies. Notably, it was the second season of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
