Ranveer Singh Opens Up On Working With 20-Years-Younger Sara Arjun In Dhurandhar: ‘She Is So Precocious…’

Dhurandhar: The much-awaited trailer of Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar was finally unveiled on November 18. It was launched with a grand event in Mumbai in the presence of Ranveer, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and director Aditya Dhar. During the event, Ranveer shared his experience of working with the 20-year-younger artist Sara Arjun. The fresh pairing and age gap between them have become a topic of discussion ever since the teaser release. Ranveer praised his co-star, stating he considered himself lucky to be part of such a special moment in Sara's career. He also compared her to the Hollywood actress Dakota Fanning.

Ranveer Singh On Working With Sara Arjun In Dhurandhar

At the Dhurandhar trailer launch event, Ranveer opened up about working with his 20-year-old co-star. He said, "I'm lucky to be part of such a special moment for you. Sara here is a prodigy. You will get to know. Some people, you know, they are just like a child prodigy. Once Dakota Fanning came to Hollywood. I think, Sara, it's a testament to the fact that you beat thousands of other candidates to land this part.”

Further praising her, Ranveer added, "And it’s as if you were born to do this. Aise lagta hai yeh 50 film karke aayi hain. She’s so precocious as a person, as a performer. You are one of the finest actors that I have shared screen with. You make me look better and my heartfelt gratitude for that. I just can’t believe that it’s your first film. Obviously, you know, somebody who I love and respect a lot, Mr Mani Ratnam sir, you have acted in his films as well, and you have showed your potential and this is where the world will see you, on the big stage. I’m really really happy and I’m very very proud of you. Thank you, Sara.”

Dhurandhar trailer has been trending since its release today, packed with high-octane action and never-seen-before plot in Hindi cinema. The film has sparked excitement and even more anticipation among moviegoers eager to watch it in theatres. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the star cast of Dhurandhar also includes Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. The film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
