Ravi Teja's Father's Death: Telugu actor Ravi Teja is going through a tough time as he lost his father, Bhupathi Rajagopal Raju. He reportedly passed away due to age-related health issues at the age of 90 at Ravi’s home in Hyderabad.
The news has shocked the entire Tollywood industry. This comes shortly after the death of veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao. The members of the industry are extending condolences to Ravi Teja and his family.
Hailing from Jaggampeta in Andhra Pradesh, Ravi Teja's father was a pharmacist and lived a modest and humble life. He is survived by his wife Rajya Lakshmi and two sons, Ravi Teja and Raghu Raju. He also had another son, Bharath Raju, who died tragically in a car crash some years back.
According to media reports, Rajagopal Raju had been unwell for some time. Neither the actor nor his family has shared any statement about this loss.
Ravi Teja is one of those actors who keeps his personal life away from the public eye. He posted a photo with his son and father on Father's Day back in 2021 with a simple caption on his Instagram handle.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ravi Teja was last seen in Mr. Bachchan, which was released in August 2024. Directed by director Harish Shankar and backed by TG Vishwa Prasad, the film also starred Bhagyashri Borse and Subhalekha Sudhakar in key roles. The story focuses on a gripping yet dramatic income tax raid on an industrialist.

He is currently gearing up for the release of his next action entertainer, Mass Jathara. The film is scheduled to release in August 2025. The film is being helmed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, marking his directorial debut. The film also features Sreeleela and Nitish Nirmal in the lead alongside Ravi. As per reports, after his father's death, Ravi Teja has taken some time off from work to perform his rituals and be there with his family during a tough time.
