Bollywood's hotshot couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, never shies away from showcasing their affection publicly. The couple oozes pure warmth, love and devotion towards each other. Recently, during an interview, Saif opened up about how he felt jealous when Kareena worked with other stars and spoke about how their relationship blossomed over time. The actor also recalled the horrifying night when he was attacked by an intruder and how the incident changed his perception of life.
During an Interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Saif Ali Khan opened up about how he used to be envious of the actors Kareena worked with and said, "In the beginning, I wasn’t very easy to deal with. Maybe I was a bit jealous and unsure of how to react to her working with other men. It was all new. These are emotions you need to process maturely, and you need a lot of trust and belief in each other. When things are new, and if you’re naturally insecure in a relationship, it can be tricky to navigate. Normally, I had gone out with girls who had nothing to do with movies as such. The one that struck me was that my rivals would be her allies, and I was like, ‘How do you work that?’ But love triumphs that."
Saif did not hold back while talking about Kareena as a woman beyond being a top actor. He said, "She is truly an incredible woman, and I am so lucky to be with her because she is one of the most patient and loving people I have met. She is absolutely wonderful. I can go on and on. I know it’s a bit mushy."
He further added, "She makes a wonderful home for us. She’s a very creative person in front of the camera, but she’s equally creative with us.”

Furthermore, Saif Ali Khan recalled that terrifying night at his home when he was attacked by an intruder. He shared, "I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have gotten away with it the way I did, because it was very close. There was a nick in my spinal cord, and that could've led to paralysis, because I had lost feeling in my leg for a while. And the concept of being bedridden forever, or being paralysed, is frightening and it still frightens me."
Recalling the incident, he stated how his perception towards life has changed. He said, "I don't know if that means I have changed, but I am appreciative that I am healthy, and that keeps me grateful. I know that every day is a blessing. This might have accentuated it slightly."
