Raja Shivaji Movie: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly all set to play a powerful role in Riteish Deshmukh’s upcoming historical epic Raja Shivaji. The actor is expected to portray the brave warrior Jeeva Mahala, one of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s most loyal and courageous aides. Jeeva Mahala holds a significant place in Maratha history. He was known for his loyalty and unmatched courage, particularly during a fierce attack by Sayyad Banda, the trusted lieutenant of Afzal Khan. Jeeva’s bravery saved Shivaji Maharaj’s life and became a legendary moment of heroism.
According to reports, Salman will shoot his sequence on November 7, 2025, and it is expected to be one of the film’s most impactful and memorable moments. In the film, this intense sequence will reportedly be one of the major highlights. With Salman Khan stepping into the role of Jeeva and Sanjay Dutt playing Afzal Khan, audiences can expect an emotionally stirring and visually grand confrontation that pays tribute to the spirit of courage and sacrifice.Fans are already buzzing with excitement to see him in this new avatar, which will bring together action, emotion, and history on a grand scale.

Meanwhile, this will not be the first time Salman Khan and Riteish Deshmukh collaborate. The duo previously worked together in the Marathi blockbuster Lai Bhaari, where Salman made a special appearance, and later in the song Ved Lavlay from Riteish’s directorial Ved. Raja Shivaji movie aims to combine cinematic spectacle with heartfelt storytelling, highlighting the pride and legacy of the Maratha empire. The movie also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Amole Gupte, and Genelia Deshmukh. It is slated to release in cinemas on 1st May 2026.

On the professional front, Salman Khan continues to dominate with an exciting lineup of projects. His much-awaited war drama Battle of Galwan has already generated immense buzz with its powerful first look. Speaking about the film, Salman shared that it was physically demanding, especially while shooting in the harsh terrains of Ladakh. “Every year it gets tougher. I have to give more time now running, kicking, punching, doing all that stuff. This film demanded a lot,” he said.
