Popular South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has finally put all pregnancy rumours to rest and finally confirmed pregnancy herself. At the success event of her recently released movie Maa Inti Bangaaram, Samantha announced that she and her director husband, Raj Nidimoru, are expecting their first child. The actress also announced that she would be taking a maternity break from work in the coming days to take care of herself and the baby.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu Confirms Pregnancy At Success Event

After weeks of speculation, Samantha herself confirmed her pregnancy at the success event of Maa Inti Bangaaram. The star was spotted at the event accompanied by her husband Raj Nidimoru and the film’s entire team.

Talking to the gathering, Samantha broke the happy news and talked about the new chapter in her life that she was going to begin. She said, “Sorry guys, just one more gap and then I will come back. I know I have to go on maternity leave now. But I am really happy.”

Pregnancy Rumours Had Been Making Headlines

Speculations about Samantha's pregnancy firsy came into the limelight when Samantha participated in the recent Maa Inti Bangaaram celebration function.

Many fans noticed that there was a visible baby bump since she was wearing just a plain white T-shirt. It was only afterwards that her pregnancy speculations became very popular, although Samantha and Raj had not spoken anything regarding it until now.

Film Director Nandini Reddy Had Earlier Reacted To Samantha's Pregnancy 

A few days before Samantha's confirmation, Maa Inti Bangaaram director BV Nandini Reddy had also spoken about the actress's pregnancy while discussing the film's success.

In an interview, she said, "Her pregnancy comes at a beautiful time, as our film Maa Inti Bangaaram has become a success." Reports also suggested that Samantha is expected to welcome her baby later this year, probably in December 2026.

Maa Inti Bangaaram Continues Strong Run

While celebrating a personal milestone, Samantha is also enjoying professional success. Maa Inti Bangaaram has performed well at the box office and has reportedly crossed Rs 50 crore worldwide.

The actress's performance as Swarna has received appreciation from audiences, with many praising her work across emotional, action, and comedy sequences.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru tied the knot on December 1, 2025 in an intimate Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, after dating each other. The couple are now entering into a new phase of life.
