Singer Karan Aujla joined Samay Raina, Tanmay Bhat, Gurleen Pannu, and Rahul Dua on the panel of the most recent episode of India's Got Latent. There were several high moments on Samay Raina's show, but one in particular revisited Karan Aujla's water controversy from his Mumbai concert.
What Did Samay Raina Say To Karan Aujla?
The controversy resurfaced when Samay Raina took a playful dig at Karan Aujla during the show. He asked the Punjabi singer if he wanted some water or anything else. When Karan politely declined, Samay joked, "Humare show mein free hota hai".
Karan Aujla then addressed the controversy himself. He said that for those unaware of the incident, it happened during one of his Holi event shows in Mumbai. Before he could continue, Samay Raina interrupted with another joke, saying Holi event with no water.
A slightly embarrassed Karan Aujla clarified that it was not his mistake. He also said he did not want to blame his team. According to him, there was a water shortage at the venue, and whatever water was available was being sold at very high prices. He added that he is still hearing about the event even today.
Karan further shared that his team later organised another show in Mumbai, and it turned out to be a huge success.

Karan Aujla Water Controversy
For better context, Karan Aujla performed in Mumbai on March 3, 2026, as part of his tour in India. A sizable audience arrived prepared to sing and dance, as it was organised like a major Holi event. However, a number of guests described it as the 'worst concert ever'.
The scorching heat, restricted access to cooling and a lack of hydration lines caused several guests to pass out. To add to the misery, a 20-rupee water bottle was priced at Rs 100.
