Sardaar Ji 3 Box Office Collection: The horror-comedy film Sardaar Ji 3, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa alongside Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, has achieved a remarkable feat despite not being released in India. According to reports from Sacnilk, the film has emerged as the highest-grossing Punjabi film of the year so far, accumulating an impressive Rs 42.6 crore from international markets within just 10 days of its release.

Sardaar Ji 3 earned Rs 9 crore in its second weekend, with a 40 per cent drop from its opening weekend. The film's strong performance indicates sustained audience interest worldwide.

Sardaar Ji 3 has earned Rs 18.75 crore in North America and Rs 6.25 crore in Pakistan and the UK. It's the third-highest-grossing Punjabi film overseas, but could become the highest-grossing if momentum continues.

The international success of Sardaar Ji 3 is notable, but its absence from Indian cinemas is a significant missed opportunity. The film faced intense backlash and controversy in India due to the casting of Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, particularly in the aftermath of the Pahalgam attacks, which had strained relations between India and Pakistan.

The decision to include Aamir in the film led to widespread protests and public outcry, ultimately forcing the makers to withhold the film's release in India. Diljit faced backlash from fans and film industry bodies, including FWICE and AICWA, who criticised his decision to work with a Pakistani artist during heightened tensions.

As a result, Sardaar Ji 3 has had to rely solely on international markets for its earnings, depriving it of substantial domestic revenue that could have bolstered its overall box office performance.
