Shah Rukh Khan 60th Birthday: The King and Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, is celebrating his 60th birthday today, November 2, a date that is nothing short of a celebration across the world. Thanks to his illustrious career and charisma, he has continued to captivate and win over the hearts of his fans. From his early days on television with serials like Fauji and Circus to dominating the silver screen as a romantic hero in films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Devdas, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and many others. SRK's journey has been remarkable. Marked by iconic performances, box office hits, and his career recently reached a new milestone as he received his first-ever National Award after over 30 years in the film industry.
This year, Shah Rukh is celebrating his birthday in his Alibaug residence, as his iconic Mannat is currently under reconstruction. While he visited Mannat, he won't be able to greet his fans this year. SRK apologised, explaining that authorities had advised him against stepping out due to safety concerns arising from the massive crowd gathered outside his Bandra home.
Taking to X, Shah Rukh wrote, "Have been advised by authorities that I will not be able to step out and greet all you lovely people who have been waiting for me. My deepest apologies to all of you but have been informed that it is for the overall safety of everyone due to crowd control issues.."

He expressed his gratitude and revealed he will miss seeing his fans more than they will miss him. His post read, "Thank you for understanding and believe me… I will miss seeing you more than you will. Was looking forward to seeing you all and sharing love. Love u all…"
Soon after his post, fans expressed their sadness in the comment section. One user wrote, "So sad to hear this but your safety is the most important thing, enjoy your birthday and stay safe. Thank you for such a great gift to us on this special day, absolutely loved the title reveal .....
Another user posted, "Heartbreaking but thankyou for always being so responsible."

Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday transformed Mumbai’s Bandstand into a hub of celebration, as seas of fans from around the globe gathered outside his iconic home, Mannat. The Mumbai Police imposed strict crowd-control measures and blocked nearby roads, but SRK's admirers still managed to grab spots to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood superstar.
Ahead of his birthday, adding to the excitement surrounding his special day, which is nothing short of a festival for his fans, the announcement of a special film festival, organised by PVR Cinemas, was made to mark the actor's three-decade milestone. The festival, which began on October 31, features re-releases of some of his most iconic films in cinema screens across India once again, offering fans a nostalgic experience and a romantic world created by SRK.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy gearing up for his upcoming action drama, King. The film is set to be a multi-starrer, boasting an impressive ensemble cast, including Abhay Verma, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Red Chillies, the film is expected to hit theatres in 2026.
The makers of King made the day extra special by releasing the teaser video on his birthday. Shah Rukh was seen in a never-seen-before avatar and the film promises high-octane action sequences and thrilling moments for SRK fans.
