SRK has cemented history by winning his first National Award for Best Actor in a career of over 33 years- a recognition long awaited. The actor has won the award for Jawan, in which he essayed dual roles which resonated well with the audience. This milestone marks a fitting tribute to his three-decade-long reign over the hearts of audiences worldwide.

About Jawan
Jawan is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Atlee in his Hindi debut. Produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan in dual roles as a father and son, alongside Nayanthara in her Hindi debut and Vijay Sethupathi. The story follows Azad, a vigilante and jailer of a women's prison, who recruits inmates to expose corruption in India.
The film's production began in September 2021, with shooting locations including Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. The soundtrack and score were composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by G.K. Vishnu and editing by Ruben.
Notably, some scenes were re-shot for the Tamil version, including Khan's appearance in the song Zinda Banda (titled "Vandha Edam" in Tamil), as well as portions featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu.
