Nitanshi Goel's performance in Laapataa Ladies earned her the Best Debut Female trophy at the 2025 Filmfare Awards. Actor Shah Rukh Khan and director Karan Johar hosted the occasion. Akshay Kumar, an actor, gave Nitanshi the prize. Social media sites shared a number of videos of the three of them performing on stage with the actor from Laapataa Ladies. In one video, Nitanshi stepped up to accept her prize, while Shah Rukh was seen making his way to the steps.

Shah Rukh down a short flight of stairs and held out his hand to greet her. Nitanshi started up the stairs wearing a gorgeous yellow gown with a long, flowing train, but she stumbled a little because her gown caught under her heels. Shah Rukh Khan steadied her on stage by holding out his hand. He took up the long trail of her gown and held it gently as she smiled uncomfortably and walked up the stairs, allowing her to approach Karan Johar.

Shah Rukh trailed behind Nitanshi while the crowd cheered for the superstar. He gracefully held the gown tail till she arrived at the stage, leaving so many impressed with his gesture at the Filmfare Awards this year.

Then, as Akshay presented her with her prize, Shah Rukh Khan carefully put it down. She was hugged by Karan Johar, who inquired about her well-being. Then he gave her a head kiss while grinning. One user wrote, "King, for a reason!" Another user wrote, "Just SRK things." A third user wrote, "Just Respect,This Gentelman..." Many dropped hearts and king emoticons in the comment section.

For those who are unaware, Laapataa Ladies took home a major win at Wednesday night's 70th Filmfare Awards. The film directed by Kiran Rao set a record by taking home up to 13 prizes in several categories, including Best Director, Best Film, Best Music Album, Best Dialogue, and Best Screenplay. Nitanshi, 18, debuted in Bollywood with Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao. In this 2001 rural Indian tale, two young newlyweds become estranged while traveling by train. Additionally, Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Pratibha Ranta play important parts.

Shah Rukh Khan's New Movie

Shah Rukh's next film for fans is King, directed by Siddharth Anand. Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Suhana Khan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma reportedly star in the much anticipated movie.
