Shahid Kapoor has collaborated with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj for the fourth time, following successful ventures including Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon. He will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar, which the actor described as a 'madly different character'. Shahid has completed shooting for the yet-to-be-titled movie. He also revealed that the film's title will be unveiled soon. The actor expressed his excitement and thanked his co-stars, including Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Avinash Tiwary and others after sharing screen space with them in Vishal Bhardwaj's directorial.

Shahid Kapoor Wraps Up Vishal Bhardwaj Film

Taking to Instagram, Shahid dropped a monochrome BTS photo featuring himself and director Vishal Bhardwaj. Along with the post, he shared details about a secretly titled film. The actor wrote, "And it’s a WRAP. My 4th collaboration with this special man @vishalrbhardwaj . Excitement levels are off the charts. Our secretly titled soon to be announced film is done. As always it’s a new world and a madly different character for me to play. A titular part from him for the 3rd time. I am one of the KAMINEY I am HAIDER and now I am …….. "

He is paired opposite Triptii Dimri, marking their first collaboration. The film also features a stellar cast, including Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Avinash Tiwary and Disha Patani in a special cameo. Talking about his co-stars, Shahid added, “This post can’t be complete without including the stellar cast @tripti_dimri who I had a total blast with. Watch out for her act in this one. @iamnanapatekar thank you for those oh so layered scenes we got together @official_farida_jalal ji for your warmth and grace @avinashtiwary15 for your playlist on that drive can’t reveal much more here brother. Interestingly, Shahid also hinted at a secret appearance. He said, "And there’s one more actor, one of my favourites, who can’t really be revealed, but it is such a pleasure to have him with us on this one. And lastly @nadiadwalagrandson for putting this all together. This one’s SUPER SPECIAL."

Soon after the post was uploaded, the actor's fans and industry friends chimed in through the comments section.

Shahid and Vishal, who have previously delivered some masterpieces, are set for a new and thrilling collaboration. The untitled film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is slated to release in December this year. The actor will be seen performing two energetic songs with Disha Patani in the film.

He was last seen in Deva alongside Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati in Rosshan Andrrews' directorial.
