Shakthi Thirumagan OTT Release: After its theatrical release last month, Shakthi Thirumagan, the Tamil political action thriller starring Vijay Antony is all set for its OTT debut. Shakthi Thirumagan movie’s story follows Kittu (played by Vijay Antony), a mediator who works as a political lobbyist in Tamil Nadu. His job involves negotiating between bureaucrats, politicians, and business figures, often managing disputes over land and public projects. As the narrative unfolds, Kittu finds himself tangled in a dangerous web of corruption and power politics, leading to moral conflicts and legal battles. The film explores how influence, greed, and ambition shape the political landscape, while one man tries to hold onto his integrity.

Besides playing the lead role, Vijay Antony has also produced the movie under his banner, Vijay Antony Film Corporation, and composed its background score. The ensemble cast includes Sunil Kripalani, Trupthi Ravindra, Krish Hassan, Vagai Chandrasekhar, and Cell Murugan. The technical team features cinematography by Shelley R. Calist, editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta and Dinsa, and action choreography by Rajashekar.

Produced by Fatima Vijay Antony and presented by Meera Vijay Antony, the film’s art direction, costume design, and VFX have been handled by Sreeraman, Anusha Meenakshi, and Aaditya Maran, respectively. The movie, which hit cinemas on September 19, 2025, alongside its Telugu version, opened to mixed-to-positive reviews, with critics praising its performances and engaging first half.

Meanwhile, for those who missed it in theatres, Shakthi Thirumagan directed by Arun Prabu Purushottaman, the film will begin streaming on October 24, 2025, on JioHotstar in Tamil and Malayalam. The Telugu and Kannada dubbed versions will be released under the title Bhadrakaali, giving audiences across languages a chance to enjoy this intense political drama.
