Lee Min-woo, a member of the legendary Kpop group Shinhwa, announced his marriage on July 25 through a heartfelt handwritten letter on his Instagram. He revealed that after going through personal challenges, he reconnected with someone he had known for a long time and they decided to spend their lives together. This makes him the fourth member of Shinhwa to tie the knot, following Eric Mun, Jun Jin and Andy Lee.
In his letter, Lee Min-woo expressed gratitude to his fans, known as Shinhwa Changjo, for their unwavering support throughout his career. He assured them that despite the new chapter in his life, he will continue to entertain them as an artist, drawing strength from both his family and fans. The couple's first public appearance is expected on the variety show Mr. House Husband 2 in early August, where Lee Min-woo will introduce his fiancée to the viewers and share his love story.
Lee Min-woo wrote in an Instagram post, "Hello! How is everyone staying healthy this unusually unpredictable whimsical summer? I've finished my first exhibition and I think I have a little peace of mind now. So today, I have the first news I want to tell to mythical creation, so I heard this."
"Recently, I have been through various situations and spent a lot of time with my family and I have been able to reflect on the meaning of family. Once upon a time, I had this indifferent mind that 'I want to build my own family that supports each other'. While doing that, we decided to become a family by identifying the precious relationship that we have known for a long time," he further added.
Lee Min-woo went on to state, "Our mythical creation may be surprised by the sudden news...
I've been thinking a lot about how to convey this news and it hasn't been easy to catch a grip, but if I receive this news somewhere else other than me first, I'll tell the news first thinking of mythical creation that will upset and upset me.
