Shriya Pilgaonkar is receiving a lot of attention for her stunning character in the most recent web series Mandala Murders on Netflix. Audiences and critics alike are already praising her remarkable transformation for the YRF backed series. Mandala Murders is a crime thriller, which debuted on Netflix. The eight-episode series is set in the village of Charandaspur, follows Vaani's character, Rea Thomas, as she investigates some horrific murder mysteries linked to the cult of Aayastis, which sought to bring the human god Yast back to life.
Shriya Pilgaonkar talked about the intricacies of her character Rukmini in Mandala Murders, "I love exploring different looks for the characters I play, and Rukmini in Mandala Murders is truly unlike anyone I've portrayed before - both in how she looks and who she is. She’s beguiling, magnetic, and full of fire. To bring out her mystical, almost otherworldly energy, we went for a very maximalist approach with the styling - rich fabrics, bold jewellery, deep maroons and antique gold."

Shriya Pilgaonkar is getting a lot of praise for her appearance as Rukmini. She credited the series' director Gopi Puthran, and the hair and makeup crew for creatung this iconic look. The actor continued, "There's a goddess-like aura to Rukmini, with the subtle touch of roses adding a softness and grace that beautifully balances out her intense presence. This fascinating duality, where Rukmini can feel gentle yet also completely intimidating, shaped much of how her look was meticulously designed. From ornate headpieces to ceremonial drapes, every element contributes to a powerful, quiet presence."
