Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 1: Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh starrer sports comedy drama movie released in theatres on June 20 after much await. The film has opened at the box office with good numbers, beating the prequel Taare Zameen Par’s collection by a huge number. Notably, both films have a gap of Rs 9.05 crore. Yes, the 2007 movie earned Rs 2.65 crore on its opening day. Now, Sitaare Zameen Par has earned more than expected. Seeing the good reviews by the audience and the critics, it seems the film might earn a hefty amount over the weekend.

Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 1

Sitaare Zameen Par earned Rs 11.7 crore on the opening day. As per Sacnilk, the film had an overall 21.43 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. It had 16.74 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 16.25 per cent in the afternoon shows, 20.21 per cent evening shows and 32.50 per cent in the night shows.

Sitaare Zameen Par Budget

According to several latest reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 90 crores.

About Sitaare Zameen Par

The plot revolves around an arrogant basketball coach, who has hired to Neurodivergent adults for community service. His perception of life changed after he started engaging with his team in depth. Sitaare Zameen Par features Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, Simran Mangeshkar, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Rishi Shahani, Dolly Ahluwalia, Brijendra Kala and Rishabh Jain in key roles. It has been directed by RS Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Aparna Purohit, Ravi Bhagchandka. The film is an official remake of the 2016 movie Champions. It has a runtime of 185 minutes. G Srinivas Reddy is the cinematographer of the film.
