Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 8: Aamir Khan’s Movie Maintains Steady Pace, Nears Century Mark

Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 8: Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh starrer sports comedy drama movie hit the silver screens on June 20. The film has been performing at a steady pace at the ticket windows. The movie didn’t lose its grip on its pace despite several new releases like Kannappa and Maa. The movie earned Rs 6.67 crore on Day 8. The net collection of Sitaare Zameen Par stands at Rs 95.23 crore.  As per Sacnilk, the film had an overall 18.43 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. It had 7.07 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 15.36 per cent in the afternoon shows, 20.04 per cent in the evening shows and 31.23 per cent in the night shows.

Sitaare Zameen Par Budget

As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 90 crore. The film has successfully crossed the budget in just 7 days of theatrical release.

About Sitaare Zameen Par

The story focuses on an arrogant basketball coach who has been asked to train Neurodivergent adults for a community service program. With time, he becomes friends with the teams and tries to understand their lives. The movie features Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, Simran Mangeshkar, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Rishi Shahani and Dolly Ahluwalia in pivotal roles. It has been directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Aparna Purohit and Ravi Bhagchandka. It is the remake of the 2016 Spanish movie Champions.
