Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office: Sitaare Zameen Par, starring Aamir Khan, is still refusing to give up at the box office after a full month. On day 32, the emotional sports drama brought in Rs 22 lakh at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the film, which also stars Genelia Deshmukh, has made Rs 165.57 crore net. While Sitaare Zameen Par continues to grow in popularity, its theatrical run will come to an end with fresh releases like Saiyaara by Mohit Suri and Metro In Dino by Anurag Basu.
Sitaare Zameen Par had a favourable reception at the box office due to positive word-of-mouth. Yet, its shortcomings for an urban-focused audience prevented it from having a significant impact at the box office. The movie which took a new approach to analyse learning disabilities in kids, made Rs 262.75 crore worldwide in just 31 days. RS Prasanna's directorial made Rs 197.5 crore in India, it collected Rs 65.25 crore overseas, as per industry tracking site, sacnilk.

Sitaare Zameen Par vs Saiyaara Box Office
Week five would typically be a major downturn, particularly with well-known releases like Saiyaara joining the fray. Sitaare Zameen Par, however, went against the odds. Aamir Khan led movie continues to be a popular choice for audiences seeking feel-good movie, even though Saiyaara has captured the interest of young people with its youthful cast and romantic music-driven plot.

It has been revealed that Aamir Khan has a completely different idea for Sitaare Zameen Par. The actor is likely to release the film on YouTube for a pay-per-view price, allowing him complete control over the release window and pricing, rather than selling the streaming rights to any big OTT service.

The Spanish film Campeones served as the inspiration for Woody Harrelson's Champions, which was remade in Bollywood as Sitaare Zameen Par. It narrates a motivational tale about a group of people with special needs who are guided by Aamir Khan's character during a basketball game.
