Sitaare Zameen Par is gearing up for release in June this year. The much-awaited film, which is the sequel to the 2007 hit movie Taare Zameen Par, has officially received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The movie now has its confirmed release date. Recently, there were speculations that Aamir Khan and CBFC had a dispute over proposed cuts. It was reported that the film was having trouble receiving clearance from the board due to the requested edits, which the actor was not ready to make. But neither of them cited any disagreement officially. After which, it seems, the issue might have been resolved.

When And Where To Watch Sitaare Zameen Par?

Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh starrer movie Sitaare Zameen Par is slated to be released in theatres on June 20. Only three days are left for the film’s grand release.

About Sitaare Zameen Par

The plot revolves around a suspended coach, who has to serve a community service by helping a team of players with disabilities prepare for a tournament. The film is the official remake of the 2018 Spanish film Champions. Sitaare Zameen Par features Aamir Khan as Gulshan, Genelia Deshmukh, Aroush Datta as Satbir, Gopi Krishnan Varma as Guddu, Vedant Sharmaa as Bantu, Naman Misra as Hargovind, Rishi Shahani as Sharmaji, Rishabh Jain as Raju and Ashish Pendse as Sunil Gupta. It has been directed by RS Prasanna. Sitaare Zameen Par has been backed by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit under the production banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Aamir Khan is set to make a comeback to the screen after three years since his last release, Laal Singh Chaddha. Sitaare Zameen Par has a runtime of 155 minutes. G. Srinivas Reddy has done the cinematography of the film.
