Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur starrer Son Of Sardaar 2 is ready to hit the theatres on August 1, 2025. Earlier, Vijay Kumar Arora’s directorial was scheduled for a July release, but the makers decided to postpone the date after witnessing Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara’s success. The official page of Jio Studios and Ajay Devgn’s production house took to their Instagram handles to share the change of plans. Headlined by Ajay Devgn, the movie’s advance bookings are now officially open for moviegoers.
Son Of Sardaar 2 can now be watched in theatres at a 50% discount. The makers have opened the advance booking window with a promotional BOGO (Buy One Get One) offer. The code will offer up to ₹200 off and is only applicable on the purchase of two tickets. The promotional offer could be a strategic push to boost footfall on the opening day. Son Of Sardaar 2 is a slapstick comedic sequel to Ajay Devgn’s movie of the same title. Apart from Ajay Devgn, the movie also stars Kubbra Sait, Mrunal Thakur, Chunky Panday, Sharat Saxena, the late Mukul Dev, Vindu Dara Singh and Sanjay Mishra. Recently, the makers dropped a new trailer of the movie, which showcased Jassi’s survival, who is stuck between 4 problems.
The first problem is of fake love, as his wife, played by Neeru Bajwa, wants a divorce from him. Next, he gets stuck with 4 women, one of whom is actor Deepak Dobriyal, transformed as a woman. Jassi’s third problem arises as he comes in contact with the mafia world, led by Ravi Kishan. And his last and fourth problem revolved around his promise to his ‘bebe’.
