Sonali Bendre is back on TV as one of the hosts of Pati Patni Aur Panga. The actor formerly served as a judge on a number of reality shows like Indian Idol 4, India's Got Talent, Hindustan Ke Hunarbaaz, India's Best Dramebaaz, India's Best Dancer 3. Her decision to do TV wasn't so simple, though; many people questioned her choice and told Sonali not to. Later on, though, she disclosed that it was a fantastic pay.

Sonali Bendre, who made her television debut in Kya Masti Kya Dhoom following the popularity of her movie Hum Saath-Saath Hain, explained how her choice led others to assume she had lost the plot in an interview with PTI.

Sonali Bendre said, "Everybody thought I had lost the plot because television was not the thing to do. It was like, 'Why are they doing TV?' But it was a great show, I loved the concept of that show, and I thought it was a fantastic paycheck."

Additionally, she acknowledges that Goldie Behl, her spouse, helped her in making the greatest choice of her life."This (TV) is the future, television is going to become big," Goldie said. “I listened to him and said, ‘Let me do it," she added.

"The kids (on her first reality show) who used to see me at that time are all grown up now, and they still remember me. So, as a celebrity, your life is as long as your fans remember you," Sonali Bendre recalled.
