Spirit: Deepika Padukone is all set for her next big project and it is none other than with superstar Prabhas for his upcoming starrer Spirit. The much-anticipated Telugu movie will have a pan-India release. It has been made on a large scale by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Backed by Bhushan Kumar, the release date of Spirit has not been finalised yet. However, it is one of the most awaited films since its announcement. Now, with Deepika Padukone joining the cast, the excitement level of fans has increased. The movie started making a buzz again. Amid all the speculations around the movie, there is a report of Deepika charging her highest pay cheque for Spirit.

As reported by India Today Digital, Deepika Padukone has been charging Rs 20 crore for her part in Prabhas' movie Spirit. If reports are to be believed, it would be the highest pay cheque of the actress’s career. 

As per a source told Pinkvilla, “Initially, Spirit was to begin by the end of 2024 and hence, Deepika had turned down the offer, as the timelines were not matching due to her pregnancy. However, with a delay in schedule, Vanga went back to Deepika with a revised shooting timeline, and the actress has now agreed to come on board Spirit.” 

“It’s the most well-written female part in the world of Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Deepika was surprised with the nuances in not just the script, but also her character. She has loved the part, and is excited to team up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for the first time,” the source concluded. 

As per reports, Spirit is in the final scripting stage. The shooting of the movie will begin in October, this year.
