Spirit Movie: The highly anticipated action-drama and cop thriller, Spirit, starring Prabhas, officially commenced shooting on November 23rd with a traditional muhurat puja. The event was graced by cast member Triptii Dimri, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and special guest of honour, megastar Chiranjeevi. Adding to the fan excitement, reports now suggest that Animal actor Ranbir Kapoor is slated to make a cameo appearance in the action-adventure film.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Ranbir Kapoor is expected to appear at a key point in the story. The report stated, “Ranbir will come into the picture at a crucial juncture of the storytelling. It will be a turning point in the plot and a historic moment in Indian cinema since he has never shared screen space with Prabhas.” If confirmed, the cameo would mark the first on-screen collaboration between Kapoor and Prabhas, sparking speculation about whether Vanga is planning to expand his cinematic universe.

The upcoming high-octane cop action drama, Spirit, marks the first-time collaboration between actor Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Prabhas is set to portray a fearless officer in a new persona. The project also sees the reunion of Vanga with actress Triptii Dimri, following their successful collaboration on Animal. The ensemble cast further includes Vivek Oberoi, Kanchana, and Prakash Raj in crucial roles alongside Prabhas and Dimri. Last month, the creators of Spirit launched an audio teaser in five Indian languages. A key highlight that garnered significant attention was Prabhas' concluding dialogue to the jailer, “Sir, since childhood, I have one bad habit." He then repeats the line. The mystery surrounding what exactly this ‘one bad habit’ is will be revealed with the release of the movie's official trailer and teaser.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone was reportedly dropped from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, Spirit, a few months ago. The decision stemmed from her alleged stipulations, including a demand for an 8-hour workday and a substantial entourage. As a new mother, Padukone was reportedly seeking to limit her working hours to better integrate her personal and professional life. However, these demands were unacceptable to Vanga, who subsequently took to social media to publicly criticise the actress without directly naming her. He accused her of engaging in 'dirty PR games' and questioned her professional ethics. Vanga wrote, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. But by doing this, you’ve revealed the person you truly are. Putting down a younger actor and rejecting my story is this what your feminism stands for? Filmmaking is my life’s work, and you did not understand it.” These sharp remarks clearly indicated the irreparable breakdown of their planned collaboration.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Work Front

Ranbir Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Ramayana. Ranbir Kapoor stars as Ram, with Sai Pallavi as Sita. Yash will be seen as Ravana, while Sunny Deol plays Hanuman and Ravie Dubey appears as Laxman. The cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha and Indira Krishnan. Additionally, he also has Love And War movie in kitty, which also features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
