About Squid Game Season 3 Trailer

The story continues from where Season 2 left off, with Gi-hun reeling from the loss of his best friend and the shocking betrayal by the mysterious Front Man, played by Lee Byung-hun. In one of the trailer’s most intense scenes, Gi-hun is seen screaming, “Why didn’t you kill me? Why did you let me live?”—showing the deep emotional and mental impact of the brutal games.

Meanwhile, director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who created and wrote the series, has promised that Season 3 will provide a strong and fitting end to the journey that began in 2021. The trailer hints at a return to familiar games with a dark twist. One major moment features the iconic Tug of War challenge from Season 1, now with more disturbing rules. The scene takes place in a childlike room filled with eerie, crayon-style wall art, adding a chilling and unsettling vibe.

Gi-hun vs The Front Man

A big highlight of the trailer is the long-awaited meeting between Gi-hun and the Front Man, whose real name is In-ho. Once a winner of the Squid Game himself, In-ho now runs the deadly operation. This confrontation is likely to be a key moment in the final season, raising tough questions about power, justice, and redemption.
