Stranger Things Season 5. The makers of Stranger Things 5 have been generating anticipation among fans by dropping updates about the upcoming show's volume 2. Recently, the much-awaited trailer of Stranger Things Season 5 Vol 2 was unveiled, showing how the Hawkins gang is preparing for the last fight against Vecna. Following this, fans were already excited, and now Stranger Things Co-creator Ross Duffer shared details about Stranger Things Vol 2 episode runtimes ahead of the finale episode. The duration is longer than expected, especially of the final episode, which is scheduled to release on January 1, 2026.
Stranger Things 5 Vol 2 Episode Titles And Durations
Ross Duffer shared the final timeline of Stranger Things Vol. 2 episodes, including the final showdown, on Instagram, leaving fans excited. Look at the full list of episodes with titles and durations below:
Episode 5, titled, Shock Jock will be 1 hour and 8 minutes long, while Episode 6, Escape from Camazotz, will run for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and Episode 7The Bridge will be 1 hour and 6 minutes long.

Interestingly, Ross Duffer's Instagram post also revealed the duration of the finale episode. The final episode of Stranger Things 5, Episode 8, titled The Rightside Up, will be the longest episode of the season, running for 2 hours and 8 minutes. This is more than fans expected and has already sparked anticipation about what the makers have in store.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 will stream on Netflix from on December 26, 2025. The highly anticipated Netflix series finale will simultaneously stream and screen in 500 movie theatres across the country, starting on December 31 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. At the same time, the episode will make its global premiere on Netflix and will run through January 1, 2026.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1, which premiered in November and had four episodes, left everyone in suspense with its ending. The formidable Vecna emerges from the Upside Down with a chilling warning about the last battle to take over Hawkins and the world.
