Sudhanshu Pandey is a popular name in the industry and has worked on several renowned projects like the TV serial Anupamaa and Bollywood movies like Radhe, 2.0, Singh Is Kinng and others. Currently, he is a part of the sensational reality show, The Traitors, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Recently, he got candid about his journey in the industry. Sudhanshu explained that he has gained a lot of respect and fame with his work, which he will not risk at the cost of a reality show. He further added that being a family man, whatever he has achieved has made him a different person.
Sudhanshu Pandey also revealed the real reason behind joining the list of contestants of The Traitors and stated during an interview with Bollywood Hungama, “That’s how I am; I don’t know about others. I would have never compromised my self-respect or dignity at any cost. So, for me, being a part of a reality show was never in my scheme of things, especially the kind of reality shows that are made. The popular ones in particular are ridiculous in nature!”
He further explained that he was not interested in becoming a part of Karan Johar’s show The Traitors if it was similar to other reality shows. “But when the offer for The Traitors came in from BBC, my first reply to them was that if it was anyway close to ‘that’ reality show, then I wouldn’t be doing it. We had a virtual meeting with the BBC producers. They convinced me as they explained the format to me, how it would function, etc. That is when things moved forward,” he continued.

What grabbed Sudhanshu’s attention were the videos of the original show sent by the makers, which made him realise that this was a mind game. “Hence, it would be a good challenge to be a part of it. That is what appealed to me. I was then not worried about the nature of the show,” he shared.
On being questioned about showing his soft and polite attitude in the first episode, and whether fans would get to see a different side of him, he said, “You’ll have to watch it to know whether or not there are going to be fireworks from my side. The audience will get to see the real me in this reality show and how I hold myself.”
Anupamaa actor also shared his take on doing other reality shows in future and expressed that he always used to deny the offers, but now, after being a part of The Traitors, he feels that if the show’s format is interesting, he would love to be a part of it.
