Superman Box Office Collection Worldwide: Superman is on pace to surpass another MCU movie at the global box office after recently outperforming one. James Gunn's most recent flick is only a few million years ahead of Captain America 4, also known as Captain America: Brave New World. This past weekend, the DC movie which starred David Corenswet in the lead, became the highest-grossing of the year in North America.

Superman maintained its top spot at the U.K. and Ireland box office for a second weekend, adding £4.8 million ($6.5 million) to its total of £16.3 million ($22 million), according to Comscore. With a total gross of $4.4 million over its third weekend, Universal's Jurassic World Rebirth held a solid hold on second place with a total of $33.5 million. After four weeks, the racing drama F1 from Warner Bros. still came in third with $1.7 million, bringing its total to $24.5 million.

Superman Box Office India

Superman brought in about Rs 1.5 crore on day 8 in India, bringing its total domestic receipts to Rs 37 crore in all languages, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Strong weekend foot traffic was the main driver of its Rs 35.5 crore first-week income. Trade analysts think the movie is doing well, despite the fact that the introduction of new material caused a minor decline in the midweek buzz.

Marvel's The Fantastic Four First Steps, which opens on Thursday, July 24, is this week's big release.  The new quartet in the superhero reboot, which was directed by Matt Shakman, is Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.  The Disney-distributed movie opens in more than 300 theaters.

With a $225 million production budget, this accomplishment is particularly remarkable in light of DC's recent box office setbacks.
