Sushmita Sen is one of the few actresses who emerged as a trailblazer in Bollywood after winning the title of Miss Universe. With a memorable tapestry of bold choices in her career, the confident diva has curated a special niche in Bollywood as well as in the hearts of her admirers. But after reaching the heights of success in her career, the wonderful actress decided to take a break. Now, after a long gap, the star is willing to make a comeback into the field of acting.

Sushmita Sen recently revealed during an interview with Mid-Day that the actress had personally reached out to the heads of OTT giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and JioHotstar to ask for work. She said, “I called up the heads of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hotstar. And, I said, ‘My name is Sushmita Sen. I am an actor, I used to be one anyway. And, I want to come back and work. Sushmita Sen’s Recent Work:

Most recently, the beloved actress appeared in the sensational web series Aarya, which streamed on JioHotstar. The crime thriller show portrayed her as a dedicated wife and mother who gets trapped in the underworld happenings to protect her children at any cost. Apart from Aarya, Sushmita Sen was also praised for her outstanding role in the movie Taali, which was a biographical story on the life of the transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant.

They are often spotted together even after their separation during public events.
