Sussanne And Zayed Khan's Mother Zarine Khan Passes Away At 81 In Mumbai After Cardiac Arrest

Veteran Bollywood personality Zarine Khan, wife of actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan and mother of Sussanne Khan, Farah Khan Ali, Simone Arora, and Zayed Khan, passed away in Mumbai at the age of 81. According to reports, she breathed her last at her residence after suffering a cardiac arrest. Zarine had been unwell for some time due to age-related health complications. The news of her passing has left the film fraternity and her well-wishers deeply saddened.

Zarine Khan’s last public appearance was in a vlog shared by her daughter Farah, where she was seen preparing Irani mutton kofta and giving a brief tour of her home. Her final Instagram post, shared on her birthday in July 2025 featured moments with her family, including photos with her children and husband Sanjay Khan. Captioned simply “Happiness,” the post now stands as a touching memory of her. Sussanne Khan had shared an emotional birthday tribute calling her mother “my biggest inspiration,” thanking her for shaping her “heart, mind, and grit.”
