Taxi Driver 3 : Lee Je Hoon is ready to return for another thrilling ride as the taxi driver Kim Do gi in the highly anticipated season 3 of Kdrama Taxi Driver. Following the record-breaking and successful Season 2, Je Hoon will be back with his Taxi team including Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye jin, Jang Hyuk jin and Bae Yoo ram. Writer Oh Sang ho and director Kang Bo seung reunite to bring the complex vigilante taxi driver story to life. The announcement of Taxi Driver 3 was made at the ongoing APOS conference in Indonesia. Taxi Driver 3 Announced

Taxi Driver is adapted from the popular Korean webtoon Red Cage, which premiered on SBS in 2021, and instantly became popular with its unique blend of action, social justice, and noir elements. The latest installment in the hit Korean series from SBS and Viu will premiere in the fourth quarter of 2025 as a Viu original worldwide excluding South Korea and mainland China, as per Variety report.

Expanding the cast with the inclusion of International artists. Hong Kong's Mirror boy band member Edan Lui has come on board for Taxi Driver 3, marking his Korean drama debut. His character forms a thrilling alliance with Kim Do gi.

Sharing details about season 3 of Taxi Driver, Park Jeong-hoon, CEO of Studio S, the in-house production arm of SBS Media Group was quoted by Variety, stating, “We are delighted to introduce ‘Taxi Driver 3’ through our trusted and long-standing partnership with Viu, a platform with strong global influence and reach. Our production team is working diligently to create a high-quality drama that lives up to the legacy of Seasons 1 and 2, striving to meet and exceed the expectations of viewers.”

This announcement just joined Viu's 2025 content slate with Song Joong ki starrer My Youth and My Girlfriend Is a Man starring Astro’s Yoon San-ha and Oh My Girl’s Arin.
