Tere Ishk Mein Box Office Collection Day 1: Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, finally arrived in cinemas and social media is already buzzing with strong reactions. The intense romantic drama has taken the internet by storm, with many praising its emotional depth, powerful storytelling, and the compelling chemistry between the lead actors. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film is the spiritual sequel to the 2013 hit Raanjhanaa, which featured Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. Fans say the new film successfully captures the same raw passion and heartbreak while offering a fresh narrative.

According to Sacnilk, on its opening day Tere Ishk Mein collected Rs 16. 5 crore in India becoming the second biggest opening after Saiyaara in 2025. With this numbers it has beaten the opening figures of many movies like Jolly LLB 3 (Rs 12 crore), Sitaare Zameen Par (Rs 10.70 crore). The movie has even earned more then De De Pyaar De 2 starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Currently, Dhanush’s passionate love story faces a box office clash with Gustaakh Ishq, starring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Tere Ishk Mein X Review

Viewers on X (formerly Twitter) are showering love on the film. One user wrote, “What a dialogue, what chemistry! Dhanush and Kriti Sanon shine throughout. Tere Ishk Mein is a must-watch love story.” Another user shared, “Thalaivaa @dhanushkraja! Don’t miss this one. You will laugh, you will love, you will cry. A pure and soulful film.” A fan also predicted the film’s success, saying, “Tere Ishk Mein is going to be one of the best films of 2025. Mark my words!” Many early viewers praised the first half for its strong pacing and beautiful visuals, while calling the second half emotional and slightly heavier. However, most agreed that the film remains a wholesome entertainer with standout performances, especially from Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. The music by A.R. Rahman, too, is receiving widespread appreciation.

About Tere Ishk Mein Movie

Tere Ishk Mein follows the fiery journey of Dhanush’s character, an impulsive young man who falls deeply in love with Mukti, played by Kriti Sanon. Their warm and innocent college romance takes a tragic turn when Mukti decides to marry someone else. Heartbroken and unable to accept reality, he spirals into obsession, vowing to ‘burn the whole of Delhi’ in the aftermath of his emotional collapse. The film has been released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and also stars Priyanshu Painyuli in a key role.
