Tere Ishk Mein vs Gustaakh Ishq Box Office Day 6: Both Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's film, Tere Ishk Mein, and Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh’s romantic saga, Gustaakh Ishq, hit screens on November 28, 2025. Despite both movies receiving considerable audience acclaim, Gustaakh Ishq struggled commercially, largely overshadowed by the box office success of Tere Ishk Mein. The latter is a spiritual sequel to Anand L Rai's 2013 film, Raanjhanaa, whereas Gustaakh Ishq marks the directorial debut of renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Tere Ishk Mein opened with a powerful Rs 16 crore on Day 1, marking Dhanush’s biggest opening in India. The film maintained its momentum on Saturday and Sunday earning Rs 17 crore and Rs 19 crore respectively. On first Monday, Dhanush-Kriti Sanon starrer saw a huge drop. The movie collected Rs 8.25 crore. On Tuesday, the movie grossed Rs 10.25 crore. On Wednesday, 6th day, Tere Ishk Mein minted Rs 6.8 crore. This brings the film’s total collection to an impressive Rs 77.8 crore.

Gustaakh Ishq Box Office Collection Day 6

According to Sacnilk, Gustaakh Ishq has minted Rs 50 lakh on its opening day. The film saw a huge drop on its first Monday, collecting Rs 0.07 crore. On its first Tuesday, the movie minted Rs 0.11 crore. On Wednesday, the romantic saga witnessed a huge drop collecting Rs 0.06 crore. This brings in a total collection of Rs 1.55 crore within six days. The film had an overall 6.12 per cent Hindi occupancy on Tuesday. It had 5 per cent in the morning shows, 5.51 per cent in the afternoon shows, 4.64 per cent in the evening shows and 9.34 per cent in the night shows.

About Gustaakh Ishq Movie

The romance drama, directed and written by Vibhu Puri with co-writer Prasshant Jha, is produced by Manish Malhotra and Dinesh Malhotra. Set in Old Delhi, the plot revolves around Nawabuddin Saifuddin Rahman, played by Vijay Varma, who is struggling to save his father’s printing press. Rahman's journey leads him to become the disciple of the retired poet, Aziz, also known as Babba (Naseeruddin Shah). While spending time with Aziz's family, he falls for Aziz’s daughter, Minni, a teacher played by Fatima Sana Shaikh. Sharib Hashmi also features as Attachie. The central conflict of the film explores Rahman's emotional dilemma, as he is torn between his growing love for Minni and his deep loyalty to his mentor.
