Thalapathy Vijay, actor-turned-politician, paid a visit to actor Ajith Kumar's Chennai home on Saturday to express his condolences after Ajith's mother, Mohini Mani, passed away. He was seen arriving with rumoured girlfriend and actor Trisha Krishnan.
Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan were seen together during this visit. The viral footage showed the latter coming with him and offering her condolences to the grieving family. It was taken from outside the house showing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister entering Ajith's house under tight security, accompanied by his security guards.
Thalapathy Vijay hugged Ajith as he got out of the car, then spent time with the family. Trisha Krishnan was also spotted at the house, paying her respects and offering her condolences in a black salwar suit. She greeted and hugged Ajith during the visit, according to the viral visuals.

This visit coincided with growing rumours about their relationship, particularly during the ongoing divorce proceedings between Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha.

The long-standing relationship between Vijay and Ajith in the Tamil film industry made the visit noteworthy. The two celebrities have been friends since the beginning of their careers, before Vijay entered politics. Ajith personally called Vijay earlier this month to congratulate him on winning the Tamil Nadu poll, according to several media reports.
Additionally, Trisha and Ajith have been together on screen in movies like Ji, Yennai Arindhaal, and the most recent Vidaamuyarchi.

Ajith Kumar's Mother Passed Away At 89
Ajith Kumar's mother, Mohini Mani, passed away on May 30. She died quietly in her sleep following a period of deteriorating health, according to a statement released by family member Anil Kumar.
The statement read, "Our mother, Mohini Mani, passed away early this morning, in her sleep, after a period of declining health. She was 89. We are grateful for the care and support provided to her and our family by a number of medical professionals these last few years (sic)."
Ajith Kumar, who was in Dubai at the time of the news, returned to Chennai last night to spend this difficult time with his family.
