Thamma Box Office Collection: Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, was released in theatres on October 21 to positive reviews. The movie, which is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe alongside Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya, has completed its theatrical run following a successful box office run. Thamma is the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. It also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal. The plot revolves around Ayushmann's character, who transforms into a vampire and falls in love with Rashmika's character, resulting in a 'bloody love story' filled with twists. He plays a journalist who transforms into a vampire-like character.
Thamma was released in theatres on October 21, 2025, and in approximately 40 days, the horror comedy grossed 134.63 crore net at the Indian box office. It is Ayushmann Khurrana's highest-earning film, and Rashmika Mandanna's third-highest grossing Bollywood film of all time.

It generated 9.63 crores surplus in during its theatrical run, turning out to be profitable affair at the end.

Thamma Plot Details
Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok Goyal, Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka/Tarika, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan, and Paresh Rawal as Ram Bajaj Goyal in Thamma.
The plot revolves around Alok Goyal, a journalist who has a near-fatal experience with a bear in the bush but is saved by a mystery woman named Tadaka. Tadaka, on the other hand, is a member of a hidden Betaal sect that has ceased taking human blood many years ago and follows their own stringent laws. Tadaka relocates Alok to the city and tries to adjust to the human world, resulting in some amusing incidents at his parents' home.
The main issue emerges when Alok finds Tadaka's actual identity as a vampire. After being harmed, Alok begins to convert into a vampire, erasing the distinction between his humanity and his new nature. Following this, Tadaka and Alok want to confront the powerful and terrifying "Thamma" (leader) Yakshasan of the other Betaals, who is imprisoned in a cave for past crimes and seeks human blood. They work together to put an end to Yakshasan's reign of evil and save humanity.
Thamma OTT Release
Thamma had a two-part digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. It will become available for digital rental on December 2, 2025. The full, free release for all Prime Video subscribers is set for December 16, 2025.
