Thamma OTT Release: To the delight of its fans who have been waiting for its release on digital platforms, Thamma, one of the huge Diwali blockbusters of 2025, here's a good news. It's an original and fascinating mix of numerous genres, including humor, horror, mystery, and romance, which come crashing together to produce the most current standout strand in the Maddock Horror humor Universe (MHCU). Thamma has become one of those movies that everyone is talking about because of its powerful performances, unique vampire perspective, and emotionally compelling love tale.

Thamma, led by Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in key roles. Niren Bhatt, Arun Fulara, and Suresh Mathew penned the screenplay, while Aditya Sarpotdar directed. When And Where To Watch Thamma On OTT?

Thamma will be available for rent on Prime Video from December 2, as per OTT updates. This timeline provide viewers an early option to rent before the full streaming release later in the month.

Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna's movie will, however make its formal release on Amazon Prime Video for streaming on December 16. It's OTT release makes it more available to a wider audience and continues the digital adventure of Maddock’s interwoven world that includes Stree and Bhediya.

Thamma Plot Details

Thamma storyline follows Alok Goyal, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, an urban journalist whose typical routine collapses once he falls for Tadaka, also known as Tarika, performed by Rashmika Mandanna. When he finds out she's a vampire, what starts off as a typical romance takes a drastic turn. This revelation leads him into a world he never imagined, one dominated by Yakshasan, the strong and dominating leader of the vampire tribe, portrayed to life by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Yakshasan and Alok's confrontation becomes the focal point of the narrative, fusing the stakes of a far greater supernatural conflict with Alok's personal struggles.

According to reports, the movie builds on Maddock's expanding Horror Comedy Universe by maintaining the tone, interwoven world-building, and lighthearted supernatural elements from the studio's previous productions.
