Thamma Twitter Review: The fifth installment in Maddock Films' beloved Horror-Comedy Universe, which previously produced blockbusters like Stree, Bhediya, Roohi, and Munjya, is Thamma. The film, which was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, broadens the scope of the universe by delving into a new area of Indian folklore—this time, vampire mythology. Viewers think the movie maintains its emotional core and family-friendly entertainment despite its otherworldly setting, which has frequently worked for Maddock's previous movies.
Thamma movie's release sparked a flurry of responses on social media. To express their delight, several people turned to X (previously Twitter), referring to Thamma as 'a perfect Diwali watch.' An interesting blend of 'emotion, drama, and unpredictability,' according to another user, who also pointed out that although the first half takes a while to set up the plot, the second half more than makes up for it with an entertaining conclusion.
A user wrote, "#Thamma Waowww! it's a film that leaves you thoroughly entertained and completely satisfied. The direction is simply superb, showing a masterful understanding of how to captivate the audience and make the picture look good to everyone. Every single character's performance was top-notch."
Another user wrote, "What truly stands out is the unique storyline, told in a refreshing way that keeps you hooked till the end. #RashmikaMandanna is a pleasant surprise her performance feels natural and heartfelt. As expected, #AyushmannKhurrana and #NawazuddinSiddiqui deliver power-packed performances that elevate every scene they’re in."
A third user wrote, "#Thamma is not just a movie, it’s an experience full of laughter, thrills, and twists you won’t see coming."

"Thamma" is an engaging mix of emotion, drama, and unpredictability. The first half focuses on building the story a bit slow at times, but it sets the stage well. The second half, however, really picks up and delivers an impressive payoff.

The plot?
Two lovers fighting fate, family, and some bloodthirsty Betaals. It’s ambitious, maybe too much at times, but the twists keep you hooked.

What To Expect From Thamma?
Thamma, which has been released on 4,000 screens throughout the country, will clash with Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa-led Deewane Ki Deewaniyat at the box office this Diwali. Even while industry analysts predict an opening of between Rs 30 and Rs 32 crore, which is marginally less than last year's festival blockbusters like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Returns, the positive word-of-mouth may help it gain traction over the weekend.
Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka and Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok Goyal are among the cast members of Thamma. They fight against Yakshaasan's evil control over the Betaals together. The story's emotional center is their alliance, which combines romance, humour, and action.
