Maddock Films has unveiled the trailer for their upcoming vampire comedy Thamma (earlier titled Thama), featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles. The Thamma trailer opens on a lighthearted note, showing Ayushmann Khurrana encountering Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has been awaiting his liberation for thousands of years.

Maddock Films shared the trailer and wrote, "Maddock Horror Comedy Universe presents a bloody love story, produced by Dinesh Vijan & Amar Kaushik and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar." Watch the trailer here:

Thamma is a highly anticipated Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy horror film that marks the fifth installment in Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, the film promises a unique blend of romance, comedy, and horror.

After principal photography wrapped up in mid-2025, the film is set to hit theaters on October 21, 2025, coinciding with Diwali. The soundtrack, composed by Sachin-Jigar, adds to the excitement. With its engaging storyline and talented cast, Thamma is expected to captivate audiences nationwide.

Thama was initially announced in June 2024 under the title "Vampires of Vijay Nagar". It was teased in the post-credits scene of Stree 2 and later had its title changed to Thamma in September 2024. Unlike previous films in the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe, Thamma is described as a romantic comedy with supernatural elements, focusing on vampires. The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and is set to release on October 21, 2025, coinciding with Diwali.
