The 50 is one of the most-awaited reality shows and has been building quite a buzz since its announcement, thanks to its unique concept and 50-contestant lineup. The globally successful Banijay-owned show is set to make its Indian debut on February 1 on JioHotstar and Colors. As the show nears its premiere, several spoilers have begun surfacing online. Now, the makers have released a promo revealing the prize money.

The 50 Show Concept

The 50 reality show features 50 contestants, including social media influencers and renowned personalities from the music and entertainment industries. They are invited into a lavish, palace-like setting, referred to as 'The Lion's Palace' for 50 days. In the Alishaan Mahal, there are three interconnected zones - The Courtyard, the Arena, and the Mahal. There is also a danger zone, where all physical tasks will be performed by the participant. The contestants are overseen by a mysterious figure wearing a gold lion mask, whose identity is expected to be revealed when the show goes on air.

The 50 Prize Money Revealed

The latest promo offers glimpses of the show's contestants, new rules, intense tasks and fiery clashes. The clip also unveils the prize money of The 50. Staying true to its concept of 50 contestants over 50 days, the prize money is set at Rs 50 lakhs, but there is a catch. The amount will not go to the winner; instead, it will be given to one of the fans, as revealed in the latest promo.

The 50 Confirmed Contestants

The fifty contestants will compete against each other in challenging tasks and activities. The confirmed list includes Karan Patel, Faisal Shaikh (Mr Faisu), Divya Agarwal, Monalisa, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, Shiny Doshi, Urvashi Dholakia, Ridhi Dogra, Dushyant Kukreja, Siwet Tomar, Neelam Giri, Prince Narula, Nikki Tamboli, Arbaz Patel, Krishna Shroff, Lovekesh Kataria, Chahat Pandey, Hamid Barkzi, Yuvika Chaudhary, Rajat Dalal, among many others.

The 50 Grand Premiere Date And Time

Hosted by Farah Khan, the show promises to be packed with drama, unexpected twists and turns and intense physical and mental challenges. The 50 is set to premiere on February 1 on Colors TV at 10:30 PM and will be available for streaming on JioHotstar from 9 PM onwards.
